Session Fees

My stated fee is $110 per session. However, a sliding fee schedule is in place, allowing for adjustments based on your family's income. This means that your fee could potentially be as low as $75 per session. Additionally, if you have insurance benefits, they may help in reducing the overall cost of counseling.

Do you accept Insurance?

I am an in-network provider for Anthem Blue Cross. I am an "out-of-network" provider for most other insurance companies. Depending on your behavioral health benefits, a portion of your counseling costs may be reimbursed by your insurance company. I find that most of my clients out-of-network benefits reduce costs by about 50%. So, sessions may cost about $45. If you decide to take advantage of your benefits, there are some important things to keep in mind. First, a mental health diagnosis must be provided to the insurance company, which will become a permanent part of your medical record. Second, many insurance companies often limit the number of sessions that you can have with your counselor. Effective therapy may take longer than what your insurance company may allow.
